About the Gulnara
Built in 1834 and launch for service in 1835, the Gulnara is a great example of the transition from sailing ships to steamships. The steam engine of this ship was regarded as an auxiliary drive, and the ship was still fully sailable.
Serving in the Sardinian Navy until 1861, the Gulnara was an observation, escort and passenger ship. With this model kit, you can now recreate the Gulnara for yourself and add it to your collection.
